The first pokemon games were Pokemon red and green. In America, Pokemon red and blue came out and Blastoise, Squirtle's final evolution was the box art Pokemon for Pokemon blue







Squirtle seems to be a water turtle but its tail seems to be from a squirrel.



Overall Squirtle is a great defender with the second-highest base stat total and is ok with the gym leaders
